She/There
She/There
Written By: Jonny Johnson
I've a smirk for her antics, when she goes far and performs
I've a smile for her wonder, her grace, her charm
I'm lost when she surprise me, I trust she'll guide me
As I walk beneath the gathering storm
Like ice on fire she softens the edges
With grace attired, she floats off ledges
When I peck at her flames, my heart she reclaims
It’s to her, I entrust my pledges
Like Death’s own mother, she stands to embrace
She plays and befriends what can’t be escaped
She’s mean to remind, the limits of my kind
But, with her, I never feel out of place
She lyes in the mist and with a word she appears
To command the empty, no good fears
She's out of time, beyond the rhyme
She sits between me and my years
